Project Description
This project provides a complete lighting compliance and design package for the commercial tenant space located at 2191 Lakewood Blvd, Long Beach, CA. The 2022 Title 24 Indoor Lighting Prescriptive Compliance Report (NRCC-LTI-E) documents energy compliance for 3,642 square feet of conditioned interior space, covering retail sales, office areas, warehouse storage, and support spaces (2191 Lakewood – TITLE 24 Indoor). The report confirms that the project fully complies with California Energy Commission (CEC) requirements, with an allowed lighting power of 3,166 watts compared to a designed load of 714 watts, resulting in a strong compliance margin. The project uses the Area Category Method, includes approved Power Adjustment Factor (PAF) credits, and incorporates mandatory lighting controls such as automatic shut-off, multi-level dimming, and occupancy sensors (2191 Lakewood – TITLE 24 Indoor). All documentation has been certified by the responsible designer and is approved for permit submission.
In addition to the compliance report, the Photometric Lighting Plan provides a detailed layout of all lighting fixtures, lighting zones, and foot-candle levels throughout the space (ACAD-2191 N Lakewood Blvd_ Long…). The plan includes precise illuminance calculations for retail sales areas, workstations, reception zones, storage rooms, and offices, ensuring that each space meets required lighting performance and uniformity standards. The legend and luminaire schedule at the bottom of the sheet identify fixtures such as Kendall 14W linear luminaires and ELITE downlights, with their corresponding lumen outputs, mounting information, and quantities. Photometric symbols shown across the floor plan verify that illumination levels are properly distributed, supporting both functional requirements and the Title 24 controls documented in the compliance forms. Together, these two documents form a complete, code-compliant lighting design package suitable for construction, inspection, and final occupancy approval.
