Project Description
The project at 1400 San Miguel Drive involved a comprehensive electrical engineering upgrade for a luxury single-family residence in Corona Del Mar, California. The scope included the design and integration of a new electrical distribution system to support modern residential power demands and planned home additions.
G+R Engineering developed a complete site electrical plan featuring the installation of three new 400-amp service panels, transformer concrete pads, utility interconnections, load calculations, and a fully engineered single-line diagram to ensure power reliability and code compliance. The plans also coordinated conduit routing, grounding improvements, and equipment placement to meet 2022 California Electrical Code standards and Newport Beach municipal requirements.
Working closely with the client, utility companies, and the project architect, the engineering team provided all necessary documentation for plan review, permit submittal, and construction execution. This electrical enhancement supports expanded HVAC loads, pool equipment, steam shower systems, general lighting, and new residential amenities, preparing the property for long-term performance and modern living.
